Features

Thread guards are metal discs fixed on both sides of the wheel, between the spanner bushing and caster leg.  It prevents floor debris and loose threads from getting wound around the axle and binding the wheel.  Increases wheel and caster life.  Highly recommended for textile operations.

NOTE: Not compatible with plain bore wheels.  Must be used with bearing or bushing. Thread guard blocks access to grease fittings in the wheel hub; use axles with grease zerk.
